Josher Gatlabayan is a filmmaker passionate about storytelling in the world of film and advertising.
He kicked off his journey by earning a scholarship at the Film & Media Arts International Academy in Cebu City in 2017. His thesis short film, "Adwana" (2018)—a political drama inspired by true events, has earned spots at local and international film festivals such Cebu International Film Festival and the Diwa Filipino Film Festival in Seattle, Washington, USA.
In 2019, he worked directly with the famous philanthropist and environmentalist Gina Lopez at ABS-CBN and iLove Foundation. He traveled around the country as part of her well-loved community development and travel documentary TV show called "GDiaries."

Later on, he pioneered Mabuhay Studio, an events and advertising company in Alabang, as a Creative Video Director and Production Manager. With his knowledge and expertise, the company grew exponentially during his employment, earning an average of twenty-five million pesos in annual gross income in just under three years.
Currently, he directs captivating TV spot commercials for private companies and government agencies, innovative music videos for prominent record labels, and promising independent artists. He recently directed the Philippine Department of Tourism’s first commercial for the Love The Philippines campaign. It went on to be aired on TV and shown on digital billboards in major cities all over the world.

During his free time, he enjoys watching films, attending music festivals, traveling outside the country, reading self-development/art-related books, and spending quality time with his friends and family.
